The Story Behind FurSniff

FurSniff started with one very energetic toy poodle named Teddy — and a family that couldn't keep up with him.

We're a pet-loving family based in Allen, Texas. Between Teddy, our two guinea pigs, and our kids, there's never a dull moment at our house. Teddy is curious, playful, and always looking for his next adventure. If he's not sniffing, chasing, or exploring something, he's letting us know about it. Any pet parent knows exactly what that looks like.

We started looking for enrichment products that would actually challenge him — toys built around his natural instincts to sniff, forage, and problem-solve. What we kept finding were products that were cheaply made, overpriced, or lost in a sea of mass-market listings with no real thought behind them.

So we built what we couldn't find.

Why We Left the Big Platforms
